  • What time is Check-In? – We welcome guests to arrive from 4pm unless arranged prior with us.
  • What do you supply in the kitchen? – Along with crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots & pans… We supply kitchen rolls, under sink essentials (sanitary spray, sponge, cloth, washing up liquid, replacement bin bag & food waste bag, laundry liquid, fabric softener, dishwasher tablets,) tea towels & oven gloves. Please note, if you have allergies or sensitive skin, please bring your usual supplies with you.
  • What do you supply in the bathrooms? – We supply fluffy towels, hand wash, hair/body wash, conditioner and two toilets rolls. Please note, if you have allergies or sensitive skin, please bring your usual supplies with you.
  • Do you supply anything else? – Yes! Hairdryer in all bedrooms. Hoover, Iron & ironing board, micro fibre head mop, telescopic duster, dustpan and brush all in the storage cupboard. Robes and slippers are provided for all adults.
  • Are the gardens fenced in? – Yes! With hedges and chicken wire agricultural fences.
  • Is the hot tub in Alpaca Lookout checked daily? – Yes! Our maintenance superhero comes to check our fabulous hot tub daily. They will check chemical levels and ensure it is nice and clean. We ask for guests to shower before using the hot tub to reduce contamination of moisturisers, body oils or sun creams into the system.
  • Can we meet the Alpacas? – Yes you can! Depending on the weather and if the Alpacas are feeling sociable, they are fed around 8-8:30am. Let us know nearer the day if you would like to meet them, and we can confirm with you if the timings are any different for that day or if they “Vont to be alone!”
  • Are there any pubs/restaurants near to the retreat? – Yes, we will send you lots of info/options about this attached to your pre-arrival email.
  • Can we charge our electric car? – We have two fast charging points located at the property. One solely for use with Tesla vehicles (7kw) and another for all Type 2 vehicles. They are available for all properties on the retreat, so may not be available all of the time. There is no additional charge to use them.
  • What time is check-out, and do we need to do anything before leaving? – Check out is by 10am please. We kindly ask for all rubbish and recycling to be disposed of in the correct bins in the car park, and for the property to be in a neat & tidy state ready for our hardworking team to do their changeover.
  • Can we use drones onsite? – This is a strict no. We ask for our guests not to use drones incase of accidents, which could damage our property or people/animals onsite, and so to keep the privacy of other guests staying with us at Brecon Retreat. Our properties are close to each other and all guests have the use of our grounds whilst staying with us.
